Sunday School Midweek Bible Study

Sunday School Our Christian Education Hour is from 10:20-11:20 on Sunday mornings September through May, immediately following the Ascension Bistro time (you will hear the bell ringing when it is time to start!). Classes are taught to target the specific age group of the students. The Preschool through Kindergarten classes are currently using Growing through Christ Sunday School material by Concordia House Publishing. Maxine Fellerer is the teacher, with the assistance of Sarah Breuer. The Preschool/Kindergarten class meets in the PK Room. The 1st through 6th graders are currently using Growing through Christ materials (CPH). The first/second grade teacher is Clayton Burggraff, with the assistance of Dana Burggraff. The third/fourth grade teacher is Marcia Friedrichs. Substituting during January & February is Cindy Kuhn. Stephen Larson is teaching the fifth/sixth grade class. Elementary classes meet in the large fellowship room. Music for the opening each Sunday is led by Hannah & Jake Johnson. The 7th and 8th grade curriculum is currently "According to Plan" (CPH). Jan Moynihan is the teacher and they meet in the corner room of the addition. The Senior High youth are using "Core Truth" by Group Publishing. Their teacher is Jon Leervig and they meet in the youth room. The Adult Forum, led by Pastor Don, meets in the small fellowship room from 10:30-11:20. |
