The Hearts 'n Hands committee at Lutheran Church of the Ascension oversees the kitchen and provides food for various church functions, including lunches for funerals and wedding receptions. Three teams of women, each headed by co-chairwomen, rotate job assignments so the same women don't always do the same jobs. The rest of the women in the congregation are called on a rotating basis to provide cookies, bars, sandwiches, and whatever else is needed for the function.
